I've always wanted to write the convenience store robbery, but I'm glad I didn't because you handle it much better. I would've had them holed up like it was Dog Day Afternoon. I saw you slip in a little McGiva there. You are not known for your romances, but I liked it. I liked the ending too. It's fitting to have a stranger come in and set McGee back on the right path. Excellent work, Lia.

I like scenarios where everyday and routine tasks suddenly go sideways. I think it happens more often than not. No, I'm not a romance person, but Sazzy likes it and it was her prize, so... ;)
Sometimes we do need an outside perspective, and I figured that McGee might listen to someone who was connected to the other victim rather than to him.
