I sure am glad Gibbs was so quick on his feet (and with his thinking)!
Poor Tim - can almost never catch a break, can he?
It's really nice to see their relationship evolve and deepen.
loking forward to the next chapter!

Yikes! Getting super intense, now. I'm sure your faithful readers want Ryan crushed into blood and bone fragments as badly as I do. Make it soon, hmmm? Let's have this precious wee one enter a world where his family and extended family are relaxed and at peace. (or as close as they ever get, anyway. lol)

So, so happy to see this updated. Very scary scenario, knowing someone was in the house, had planted a bug, and had quite literally touching something in virtually every room, including medications and vitamins. No, Gibbs is definitely NOT overreacting, and yes, SECNAV will not be pleased. Hope he hits Ryan over the head with the order to leave Gibbs and company alone, or else. She doesn't do subtle, so obvious will be a lot more effective. Thanks so much for the update.

So...Ryan is now on the mix, she’s going to have a field day if she ever finds out about the truth about Tim...talk about having something to hold over Gibbs.
I enjoyed Ruth’s little interchange with Tim, and Frank’s understanding of Gibbs’ need to have Tim to himself.
A wonderful steamy shower scene, but I think my favourite bit was Tim checking security measures, and adding his own – the drawer was a master-stroke!

Oh goodie, another update!!
Although I adore Jamie Leigh Curtis, I cannot stand Dr. Samantha Ryan. The woman's occupation, not to mention her demeanor give me the creeps. Guess that means Ms Curtis is doing her job.
Frank and Ruth 'bonding' with Tim had me chuckling. Very sweet, and it is lovely to have people outside their tightknit little group accepting what happened and being supportive.
Always happy to see 'Dr. Kate's sister' put in an appearance. Glad Gibbs heard what she had to say and took it to heart. Of course, it helped that his 'gut' started screaming as soon as he met Dr. Ryan.
Thanks for the update and will be looking forward to the next installment.

Terrific, there’s such a sense of fun and family in this chapter...all the banter about Tim and Gibbs and their early morning activities, the suit fitting, the possible interior decoration...I loved it, especially the ‘Brat’ comment.
Vance was great too!

Thanks for the update. Got a kick out of the (for them) normal teasing being done by Tony and the crew, and Gibbs' casual reaction to it. Things are definitely good in the land of Gibbs right now, and they all needed a break from the unrelenting tension, so this is a huge relief for all of them.
So, so happy Cassie is in the mix, since Tim and she seem to be very, very comfortable with one another. The fact that Gibbs has always trusted her, as has Abby, and Tony gets along great with her should all mitigate the animosity that exists between Cassie and Ziva.
I like Trevor more with every appearance he has in the story, and I'm truly anticipating whatever it is that he has planned. I was sort of picturing a variation on that 'drive by feeding' you did in 'Backfired' only this time, with redecorating the master bedroom, and if I am reading it right, also the nursery.
Vance did a good job dealing with Vargas, he was no where near as heavy handed as Gibbs or Tony would have been, so better it was him that spoke to Vargas. At least Vargas believed he was trying to protect McGee. His intentions were good, I hope, even if they were misguided.
Again, thanks for the update, and will be looking forward to the next installment.

Well Frank reacted better than I thought he would, which was probably due in part to his wife's influence and partly his residual loyalty to Gibbs. The little 'joke' tells me he is really on his way to accepting this particular reality, and will keep what he and his wife found out secret, for Gibbs' sake.
Vargas, on the other hand, reacted far worse than I anticipated. Thankfully Tony dealt with the problem immediately, but what happens when Vargas gets back to NCIS, or after Vance speaks to him? He can do some damage if he goes public, even within NCIS, about Gibbs' and Tim's new relationship. As much as we may want to believe everyone will be open minded, that is not to say there aren't some die hard homophobes still floating around within NCIS.
THRILLED to see Cassie Yates being brought in to the story.
I love that character. Oh boy, she is really going to be doing some teasing once she gets caught up on the new set of circumstances. Can't you just hear Cassie and Tony playing off one another teasing McGee.... and Gibbs (wearing huge grin at that thought) because Gibbs owes Cassie big time, and he won't be able to glare her into submission. This is going to be fun, I can tell.
Can't wait to read what happens when Vance and Vargas have their meeting.
Thanks for the update and hope all is well on the home front.
Yes, Frank is a good guy and a bit of a joker, but he and Ruth with be good additions to the support system. Vargas does have the potential to throw a wrench into the works, so we'll just have to see what he does. I like the character of Cassie, her early history with Tim gives her a unique perspective.

That chapter was just....adorable, hilarious, joyful, oh it was WONDERFUL!! The team banter was of the highest order, and the final scene was absolutely masterful, brillaint!!
Thanks, you just know that Tony's mind is running 1000 miles an hour coming up with new zingers now.
