Someone we have seen die, or whose death we have heard about returns from the grave, now before you go all zombie/ghost on me, it’s not that kind of challenge. The returning character has to be alive, and have been alive ever since our last encounter. Why they let everyone think they’re dead, and why they have returned to NCIS is entirely up to you…you can fill in as much or as little detail as you like regarding their time away, but I do have to know why they stayed out of contact with friends and family.



The Boring Bits



Characters The story must include one of the characters to have met an untimely end…Kate, Jenny, Paula, Michelle, Langer, Franks, Erin Kendall, Ari, Liam O’Neill (Mike Franks’ son)…these are just suggestions, if you have anyone else in mind, please le me know. Alongside our returnee, you must have at least two of the main characters: Gibbs, Abby, Tony, Ziva, Tim, Ducky, Jimmy, Vance.


Rating Any – please label appropriately.

Pairings Not required, but if the muse takes you in that direction, pair away!

Word count Minimum 1,000 – no maximum.

Genre Anything other than crossovers…NCIS Los Angeles excepted…

Seasons Any – just label for season eight and nine spoilers.
